Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry.
A Japanese-American organic chemist and marine biologist. He founded the Laboratory of Bioluminescent Biotechnology SibFU and was the first to receive the title of SibFU Honorary Professor.
Ernst-Detlef Schulze
Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.
A research scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (Germany), Schulze was invited to SibFU to collaborate on a grant from the Russian Government in the field of ecology. Specifically, he worked on the project "Biogeochemistry of Eurasian Ecosystems."
Anthony J. Sinskey
Doctor of Natural Sciences, Professor.
A world-renowned scientist in biotechnology and professor of microbiology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), Dr. Sinskey holds a Ph.D. He was invited to SibFU to lead a project under the megagrant "Biotechnology of New Biomaterials."
Alexander Khloponin
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Member of the SibFU Board of Trustees, and a founding figure behind the university's creation. He served as Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region from 2002 to 2010. Under his leadership, our region won the competition to establish a federal university in 2006.
Ari Laptev
Professor of Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and Imperial College London (UK), Director of the Mittag-Leffler Institute (Sweden), Ph.D. He leads the International Laboratory of Complex Analysis and Differential Equations at the Institute of Mathematics and Fundamental Informatics, which was established at SibFU under a megagrant.
Sabu Thomas Chathukulam
Leading Scientist, Professor.
A world-class specialist in polymer science and engineering, polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, interpenetrating polymer networks, and green nanocomposites. Since 2018, he has been a leading scientist and head of the Laboratory of Innovative Drugs and Materials at SibFU.
